Silver Stars & Active Aging (Ages 60+) – Experience the benefits of fitness and exercise at all any age
Thinking about becoming more active or starting a structured fitness program for this first time? Good for you! Are you trying to continue your exercise program but are noticing the suble effects of aging on your joints? Good for you! We are here to help. Research proves that exercise is beneficial at any age, but particularly for the older adult. Regular exercise helps control blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure and works as a natural mood elevator. Being sedentary raises your risk for heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis and many other serious health conditions. Consistent exercise helps to manage current health conditions and can speed up the recovery process after injuries or joint replacement surgery. Our Gentle Yoga and Gentle Fitness classes are designed specifically for you. Rising Stars (full-time students, age 10 – 21) – fitness programs for girls, tweens, teens and young adults.
It’s never too early to learn healthy behaviors. We support and encourage young girls to be active and stay active as well as have fun. Pre/Post Natal Fitness – pregnancy and post-partum fitness programs for women.
We can design a safe and effective fitness program for each stage of your pregnancy that not only provides health benefits to you and your baby, but can help manage common pregnancy complaints such as low back pain. We can also help design a post natal fitness program with exercises to help recover from a c-section or natural birth. Our goal is to get you back to pre-pregnancy shape quickly and safely.
